Future Search

Future Search is a large-group planning method that brings together diverse stakeholders (60-100+ people) to create shared vision and action plans over 2-3 days. Developed by Marvin Weisbord and Sandra Janoff, it focuses on common ground rather than conflicts, using structured activities to help participants map the past, present, and preferred future. The method emphasizes whole-system thinking and enables organizations, communities, and networks to align around shared goals and concrete next steps.
